Natural Resources Management

This field of study emphasizes natural resources, including land, forest and wild animal, and environmental conservation concerns. It addresses the problems of deforestation, land and coastal ecosystem degradation, biodiversity depletion, diminishing water supply, and other environmental pressures and threats on local, national, regional and global ecosystems. Given the complex nature of natural resources management issues, wide range of skills and techniques involving advanced tools, field-scale studies and participatory methods of natural resources management are dealt to develop professionals who can contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of terrestrial and coastal resources and ecosystems.
