AARM Facilities Operations
Due to the nature of our main academic and research activities (aquaculture), we need to have ready supplies/stocks of fish in various sizes, feeds, fertilizer, and qu ite a few field laborers. Fish Fries are sold as biproudcts of maintaining our brood fish, and this income is used to hire the field labors and stocking supplies. All of the above is to facilitate the FoS academic and research activities: resources for faculty, staff and students readily available.

Training on and transfer of efficient EU technologies in the sugar sector of Thailand
The objective of the SPF program is to enhance the relationship between EU and Thailand on trade, investment and related areas in order to strengthen the economic partnership. The proposed project promotes clean and efficient EU technologies associated with the sugar sector and EU sources of financing among the sugar milers in Thailand while simultaneously building their capacity in energy project development and financing (through seminars, trainings and site visits) as well as providing actual guidance. As a result, the sugar millers are expected to make appropriate decision to equip themselves with long-terms benefits and perspective in mind. It is expected that EU technologies and financing will be the preferred alternatives, enhancing the economic partnership between the EU and Thailand in the form of increase in trade and investment. This will also benefit the sugar millers, Thai government, Thai people and global environment in general since utilization of clean EU technology improves the efficiency of the sugar mills and reduces GHGs emission.
