Dr. Sohee M. Kim at the Urban Environment Management academic program organized a regional training workshop on “Scenario-Based Flood Risk Assessment in the Lower Mekong Region” between 7-8 December, 2017 at AIT Conference Center. Aiming at estimating future flood exposure by combining scenarios for urban growth with flood models, the workshop was participated by the representatives from academic institutions, governmental and development agencies from across the Lower Mekong Region. The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) SERVIR-Mekong grants program, in partnership with the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).”
