As part of the SWITCH- Asia Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) National Policy Support Component for Sri Lanka project, Prof. Visu was invited by Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment from 28 -31 August, 2018. Earlier, Prof. Visu served as the International SCP consultant to this project and assisted them to prepare the Curricula on SCP for the national universities. One of the major output of this assignment was development of SCP Resource Pack for the University and tertiary education system in Sri Lanka. A training of trainers (TOT) was organized to from 28-31 August in Colombo to test this resource pack. 35 faculty members from national universities and research centers participated in this event. As part of this program currently the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment has send 2 of their staff to follow Diploma and Certificate programs in SCP at the EECC Department.
