AIT EET in Thailand

The Language Center offers an in-house test of English proficiency which is called the AIT English Entry Test or AIT EET. It is scored on a scale similar to the IELTS. The AIT EET is a 90-minute test, which consists of three parts (Listening, Graph Description and Essay Writing).

Before Being Admitted to AIT

Admission to AIT – Acceptable Tests of English for Entry

AIT requires applicants to demonstrate basic proficiency in writing English before entry. The standard for entry to a master’s degree or certificate program is a score of 4.5 on the IELTS Test for Academic Writing; for the Certification of Advanced Studies (CAS) program, a score of 5.0 is required, and a score 5.5 is required to enter the undergraduate and doctoral programs.

Payment

  • Fee: 800 Baht (1st Test)
  • Fee: 200 Baht (re-test)

Pay to AIT cashier, Administration Building

(Office Hours – 8.30-12:00 and 13:00-15:00)

On the test date, please bring your proof of payment and Thai I.D. card or your passport to the AIT Language Center, Room 216, 2nd Floor

Test Result

The test result will be ready 1 to 2 days after your test date. Call 02-526-6623 or E-mail to languages@ait.ac.th for your test result.

We will report your test result to the AIT Admission only if your score is satisfactory to admission.

Re-Test

There is no limit on the number of times you can take the test. However, we recommend you each time study before taking the test again.

Programs Application Requirements

All students must submit a test score for admissions unless they are native English speakers or graduates of university degree programs conducted in an English-speaking country.
