Biofloc and Aquamimicry Training program from 21-25 August 2017

The next Biofloc and Aquamimicry Training program as part of the Sustainable Asian Aquaculture series @ AIT organised by AARM, SERD will be held from 21 – 25 August 2017 at AIT Conference Center Hotel, Pathumthani campus, Thailand.

This Workshop is a unique mix of sustainable farming technologies for shrimp, particularly suitable for the tropical world. International experts will provide practical information on intensive and biosecure shrimp farming as practiced in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia – Biofloc technology; emerging Aquamimicry technologies in Thailand, and organic aquaculture.

Dr. Nyan Taw, Dr. Amara Yakupitiyage, Dr. Chalor Limsuwan, Mr. Veerasun Prayotamornkul, Mr. Win Latt and Dr. Salin Krishna will be the lead resource persons. The updated program includes the success stories of intensive farm management from Indonesia. Field visit to a leading shrimp farm in Thailand is an added benefit.
