Former PhD Student of Prof. C. Visvanathan Wins the Best Oral Presentation Award

Dr. Zeshan, an AIT Alumnus, was chosen as the winner of the “Best Oral Presentation Award” in a prestigious conference of his field, i.e. Challenges in Environmental Science and Engineering (CESE-2014) held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from Oct. 12 – 16, 2014. Dr. Zeshan is former Ph.D. student of Prof. Chettiyappan Visvanathan from Environmental Engineering and Management (EEM) Field of Study, School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD). He is currently Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. The award was conferred on the conference presentation entitled “Anaerobic Co-Digestion of Food Waste and Rice Husk: Effect of Co-Substrate Mixing Ratios and Substrate to Inoculum Ratio on Biogas Production”, which is based on Masters Thesis research work of his student conducted at Quaid-i-Azam University and guided by Dr. Zeshan.
